The first con of the year! New location, unstable weather,
but still a great con. There was a professional photo shoot area set up
so every cosplayer is pretty much guaranteed to get their picture taken.
This was the debut panel of “Animation Liberation Magazine” and there
was more drama going down than possible to write about. Let’s just say the
magazine almost lasted 48 hours before completely crashing into flames and
disappearing forever. Luckily things got resolved enough to where we are
sill alive! At first glance, one might notice the female Naruto cosplayer
in the center of the picture, but more importantly off to her upper right,
we see a photographer! Yes, that tall man holding the Panda Express
drink is none other than the legendary Aldo! We are lucky to be able to
have his presence grace our magazine! Completing the rest of the ALA cosplayers
were the Medapod, Neji, and Montana cosplaying as Misa (this girl is really cool).
