ANIME LOS ANGELES 2007

First off, there is no excuse not to go to Anime Los Angeles,
Hazel Chaz and his staff have literally masterminded a convention that
allows attendees to have as great a time as they’re willing to create.
There is a free food room and a cosplay repair station. We were so impressed
with ALA 2006, that we literally brought all the crew from San Diego up for
this con. ALA is pretty much where I lost my con innocence. We all know
I was a late bloomer, attending my first anime con at the age of 22.
This was where I did my first panel (“A guide to independent manga publishers”).
This was also my first time cosplaying (Hidan from Naruto). We also
crammed a record breaking 21 people into our hotel room; this was an international
accomplishment seeing how we invited our friend Hiro
(from Japan) and Megatron (from Ireland) into the room. While cosplaying,
we met April, Jackie, Kristen, Jill, and Becky. For the Naruto gathering,
the top row from left to right is Sasori, InuAshley, Jill, (mystery girl),
Kristin, Tobi, myself, and Mathias.
