ANIME EXPO 2005

Mathias and I have been attending the anime con circuit
regularly for going on three years now, beginning with Anime
Expo 2005. While I was too busy running around making a ridiculously
large amount of social contacts, Mathias was cleverly photographing everything. This issue will serve to get Animation Liberation up to
date with all the wonderful people we met along the way, and to showcase
the talent and diversity of (mainly) Southern California’s scene. Anime
Expo 2005 came first. We attended with a group of about ten people through
our college club: the MiraCosta Anime Club. I was only eating raw foods at
the time and most likely due to my unpreparedness with the diet, I got
incredibly sick and was bedridden most of the convention. The first
picture shows Eddie Kerns, Fred Steffy, Johnny Wilson, and Glen.
The second picture shows me, Mathias, and Dan.
